Adolphe Appia & Lee Simonson Scenic Environment Project
Sketches & 1/8”=1’-0” Models
Distinctive environment sketches and models were designed with influences from two different designers, Adolphe Appia and Lee Simonson. First, a four word list was derived from two separate photographs, one list for each designer. After a word list was determined, three sketches and one white model were constructed to represent each word list in the style of either Appia or Simonson.
