Projection Content

  • To take us into June and Lenny’s apartment, I created an original flower pattern wallpaper and coordinated the color scheme to match June’s costume. (Left)

  • The original projection content was created in collaboration with the lighting designer Amanda Warren. The custom imagery shown above was designed using Photoshop. For our production, rather than using a physical crown hanging from above, I created a stained-glass image representing The Crown, which was projected throughout the entire show. As the story unfolds, the glass begins to crack and ultimately shatters, revealing that the moon has returned. (Center)

  • As Marisol and Lenny read the names etched into the pavement, they gradually realize they are walking through a cemetery. We slowly reveal a projection of an exposed brick wall plastered with tally marks, cross symbols, names, and crowns. (Right)
